Le sue figure, stilizzate e slanciate, sono portate alla flessione lirica degli arabeschi e nel contempo ad un funzione insieme decorativa e idealizzante, cioè legate alla duplicità dell'androginia, per lo scavo stilistico e nell'ambito dell'artificiale...D'altronde la correlazione tra purezza e funzione...richiama, da un lato, le idee primordiali e dell'artificiale...dall'altro lato, la destinazione del figurino all'eleganza...ma anche alla realtà della scena, per imprimere un rilievo ascensionale a passo di danza, oppure una caratterizzazione alla moda di un tempo senza tempo.

Può essere interessante il richiamo ad una affermazione di Plotino per legare insieme le cose e il loro interno:"Noi siamo attratti dall'aspetto esterno delle cose, ma ignoriamo che ciò che ci colpisce si trova invece all'interno di esse".
